I love skincare and beauty but it’s not always feasible to head to your department store or Sephora and splurge. I went on a Target run to find a budget friendly skincare routine that was effective.
One of the most efficient ways to build a skincare routine is to try sample/trial sizes of products. You can do this easily now because Target has monthly beauty boxes that include 5 trial size products for $5-$7. And you can often find the previous months beauty box on clearance.
Here are my favorite picks:
1. Cleanser- Camille Rose Tumeric Facial & Body Bar
This is an exfoliating bar that also brightens. It retails for $8.99 but I found it on clearance for $7
2. Toner- Pixi Rose Tonic (included in beauty box)
Naturally soothing and rich in skin-loving nutrients, this tonic helps tone, balance pH and minimize redness
so skin looks rehydrated and feels refreshed.
3. Mask – Miss Spa Quench Facial Sheet Mask $2.99
A hydrating and moisturizing sheet mask that contains avocado oil, honey extract.
4. Eyes – Neutrogena Rapid Dark Circle Repair Eye Cream $17.99
Eye creams are perhaps your most important step especially for keeping your eye area moisturized and preventing aging. I always like to opt for a brightening one.
5. Moisturizer- Neutrogena Hydo Boost Hydrating Water Gel Moisturizer $9
This contains hylauronic acid which hydrates and quenches dry skin.
Here’s a simple skincare routine that gives you a bang for your buck! What’s your current skincare routine?
